  • Subjects, modules, and questions attempted;
  • Answers, feedback interactions, and performance tracking;
  • Time spent on activities and learning patterns.
c. Technical Information
  • Device type, browser, IP address, and usage logs;
  • Cookies and analytics identifiers;
  • Session data and login timestamps.
d. AI Interaction Data

We collect question and answer interactions processed through AI systems (e.g. for feedback and marking). These may be cached in Supabase and used for improving model accuracy and performance.

  • Generate progress analytics and feedback;
  • Manage subscriptions, payments, and user accounts;
  • Enable community discussions and support;
  • Develop AI models and improve educational outcomes;

4. Parental Consent and Minors

STEM Ninja is designed for students under 18. We require that a parent or guardian approves the creation of a student account and monitors the student’s activity on the Platform. Parents/guardians may request access to or deletion of their child’s data at any time by contacting privacy@stemninja.com.au.

5. Data Storage and Security

All data is securely stored using reputable cloud infrastructure and managed databases (including Supabase). We employ industry‑standard encryption, access controls, and monitoring to protect your information. However, no system is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorised access or data loss.

6. Disclosure of Information
  • Service providers and contractors (e.g. hosting, analytics, payment processing, email delivery);
  • Tutors or moderators where necessary for educational support;
  • Legal or regulatory authorities when required by law;
  • Prospective purchasers in connection with a business transaction.

All third parties handling personal information are required to comply with strict confidentiality and data protection standards.

7. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance the user experience, analyse usage, and improve functionality. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not function properly. We may use third‑party analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) to monitor site performance and user engagement.

8. Access, Correction, and Deletion

AI tools used on the Platform generate feedback and recommendations based on training data and user responses. These outputs are automated and not reviewed by human markers unless explicitly stated. AI outputs may not always be correct, and users should verify important information independently.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via email or Platform notifications. The revised version will take effect upon publication.
